Financial Aid and Scholarships: 10 Empowering Resources for Students

By Jasmine Dyoco

Did you know that while tuition growth is slowing, the cost has far outpaced the cost of other prices? Alarmingly, the price index for college tuition grew by nearly 80 percent between August 2003 and August 2013 (1). Likely due in large part to cost barriers, only 17% of the U.S. population has earned an undergraduate degree (2).
