Using a smartphone or tablet, you can shape your own pots from virtual lumps of clay on a virtual potter’s wheel, then decorate them in the colors and patterns of your choice. You can create whatever you want, fire it, decorate it, and sell it in a virtual auction. Then use your money from the auction to buy more stuff in the store. Once you put the finishing touches on your pot, you’ll see that there’s a new option to “print”. This takes you to a page where you choose the size of your pot and put in an order to Sculpteo, a 3D printing firm based in France. That’s right, you can order a physical copy of your pot straight from the app!

Sculpteo and Infinite Dreams are partnering to let you create digital potteries and get them 3D printed and delivered to your door. A range of sizes are available, and the pots will be printed in Sculpteo’s food-safe, waterproof ceramic material. Convert virtual pots into real objects that can be displayed on a shelf or be given to family or friends.
